Wipro is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and solutions on Azure Databricks and SQL platforms. As an Associate Data Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analytics teams to ensure high-quality data availability, reliability, and performance for various enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.

Implement data integration workflows from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.

Optimize and tune SQL queries and Databricks notebooks for performance and efficiency.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance for enterprise data solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production and development environments.

Assist in migrating on-premise data systems to Azure Cloud and implement modern cloud data architectures.

Document technical processes, workflows, and best practices to maintain knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python or Scala.

Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and relational databases.

Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures and big data technologies.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience

1–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles.

Prior experience in Azure Cloud environments is highly preferred.

Hands-on experience in SQL query optimization and data pipeline development is a plus.
Working Hours
