Job Summary
Microsoft India is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Infrastructure Associate to join our dynamic Cloud Operations team. In this role, you will support the management, monitoring, and optimization of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with operational excellence to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of Microsoft’s cloud services. This role is crucial in enabling our clients to leverage cloud technologies effectively while adhering to best practices in cloud governance.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure environments on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.

Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cloud automation, orchestration, and continuous deployment solutions.

Conduct regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of cloud resources.

Support incident management and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.

Ensure compliance with cloud security policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Document operational processes, maintain runbooks, and contribute to knowledge base development.

Participate in cloud migration and transformation initiatives as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VNet, and Azure Active Directory.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and virtualization concepts.

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or ARM templates).

Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and cloud operational best practices.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience

1–3 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure support, or system administration.

Prior exposure to enterprise-scale cloud deployments is highly desirable.

Experience with incident response and change management processes in cloud environments.
Working Hours

Full-time position with standard office hours; flexibility required for on-call rotation to support global cloud operations.
