Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant – Net Zero Strategy to lead and support organizations in their transition towards a low-carbon and climate-resilient future. This role is ideal for a sustainability professional with strong expertise in climate strategy, carbon accounting, and stakeholder engagement who is passionate about driving real-world impact.

As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will work with global clients across multiple sectors to design, implement, and monitor Net Zero strategies aligned with international standards and best practices. You will play a critical role in shaping sustainability roadmaps, advising leadership teams, and ensuring measurable environmental and business outcomes. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on meaningful sustainability projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Net Zero strategies and decarbonization roadmaps for corporate clients.
• Conduct greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and carbon footprint assessments (Scope 1, 2, and 3).
• Provide strategic advisory services on climate risk, transition planning, and sustainability transformation.
• Support clients in setting science-based targets (SBTi) and alignment with global frameworks such as the Paris Agreement.
• Analyze sustainability data, identify emissions reduction opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.
• Prepare high-quality sustainability reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, sustainability teams, and partners.
• Stay updated on global sustainability trends, regulations, and emerging best practices.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Climate Change, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in climate strategy, Net Zero frameworks, and ESG principles.
• Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies and tools (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, SBTi).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, and CSRD.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to sustainability goals.

Experience

• Minimum of 5–8 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, climate strategy, ESG, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering Net Zero or decarbonization projects for organizations.
• Experience working with multinational clients or large-scale sustainability initiatives is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in advisory or consulting roles will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote role.
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on project needs and time zones.
• Occasional meetings outside standard hours may be required to support global clients.
