Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Threat Attribution Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and attributing cyber threats to their sources, helping protect critical infrastructure and organizational assets from advanced cyber adversaries. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of threat intelligence, cyber operations, and analytical techniques to uncover the origin, intent, and impact of cyber attacks.

As a key member of the InfoTech Solutions cybersecurity team, you will collaborate with internal security teams, external partners, and intelligence agencies to ensure timely threat detection, response, and mitigation. Your work will directly enhance the company’s overall security posture and support strategic decision-making for threat prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of cybersecurity incidents to attribute threats to specific actors, campaigns, or geopolitical entities.
  • Collect, correlate, and analyze threat intelligence from multiple sources, including OSINT, HUMINT, and technical indicators.
  • Produce actionable threat intelligence reports and briefings for internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners.
  • Monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to provide proactive recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with SOC (Security Operations Center), incident response, and IT teams to support forensic investigations and malware analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global cyber threat landscapes, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Support strategic planning by providing threat attribution insights for security policies, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cyber threat intelligence, malware analysis, network traffic analysis, and digital forensics.
  • Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and cybersecurity frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience analyzing attack vectors, threat actors, and malware campaigns to determine origin and intent.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills for producing concise, actionable intelligence reports.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or digital forensics.
  • Proven experience in cyber threat attribution, malware analysis, or incident response.
  • Experience with intelligence sharing, collaboration with law enforcement, or public-private cybersecurity initiatives is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time remote position.
  • Flexible working hours with potential on-call duties during critical incident response.
  • Must be available for coordination with international teams across multiple time zones.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with cyber threat actor motivations, geopolitical contexts, and industry-specific threat landscapes.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
