Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and creative E-learning Instructional Designer to join our remote Higher Education team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing engaging digital learning experiences for universities, colleges, and academic institutions. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, faculty members, and technology teams to create innovative, learner-centered online courses that align with academic standards and institutional goals.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning principles, with a passion for improving educational outcomes through effective digital learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality online and blended learning courses for higher education programs.
• Collaborate with faculty, academic leaders, and subject matter experts to translate curriculum into effective digital content.
• Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or Agile Learning to course development projects.
• Create interactive learning materials, including videos, simulations, assessments, and multimedia content.
• Ensure courses meet accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance) and universal design principles.
• Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar platforms.
• Evaluate course effectiveness using learner feedback and performance data.
• Continuously update and improve existing content to reflect evolving educational best practices.
• Maintain documentation and instructional design standards across projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in e-learning design for higher education environments.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design theories and adult learning principles.
• Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• Experience with multimedia tools (Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development.
• Experience working with academic institutions, universities, or online education platforms is highly preferred.
• Prior experience collaborating with faculty or subject matter experts is a strong advantage.

Working Hours

• Fully remote role.
• Flexible working hours aligned with project deadlines.
• Expected availability of 40 hours per week (full-time).
• Occasional meetings may be scheduled across different time zones.
