Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Remote Billing Specialist – Outpatient Healthcare to join our growing healthcare operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process for outpatient medical services, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursements, and full compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate medical claims for outpatient services to insurance companies and payers.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits prior to claim submission.
• Ensure proper coding using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS standards.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and take corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts in billing systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities and payer communications.
• Identify billing discrepancies and work closely with clinical and administrative teams to resolve them.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer policies, and internal billing procedures.
• Generate regular reports on billing performance, collections, and aging accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of outpatient healthcare billing and revenue cycle processes.
• Proficiency in medical coding standards (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in healthcare billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in outpatient healthcare settings.
• Prior experience in revenue cycle management, insurance claims processing, or healthcare finance is highly desirable.
• Experience working with US healthcare payers is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.
