Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst – Remote Supply Chain to join our growing operations team. This role is critical in ensuring optimal inventory levels, improving supply chain efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with inventory systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

As an Inventory Control Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, identifying trends, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory, and supporting forecasting and planning initiatives to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels across multiple locations and systems.

  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

  • Identify discrepancies between physical and system inventory and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and safety stock calculations.

  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to optimize inventory flow.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances, shortages, and overstock situations.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

  • Assist in cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and supply chain best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

  • Ability to interpret large datasets and present insights clearly.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain analytics, or operations analysis.

  • Prior experience in a remote or distributed team environment is an advantage.

  • Experience in technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, or logistics sectors is preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexible working hours with core collaboration time aligned to business needs.

  • Fully remote role with occasional virtual meetings across global teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles (EOQ, FIFO, JIT, safety stock).

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.

  • Ability to work with KPIs such as inventory turnover, fill rate, and order accuracy.

  • High level of data integrity and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
