Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our global remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures with a strong focus on Zero Trust security principles. You will play a critical role in protecting enterprise systems, applications, and data across multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance, resilience, and scalability.
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, IT, and Software Engineering to embed security into every layer of our cloud ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.

Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.

Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM), MFA, least-privilege access, and role-based controls.

Integrate security tools such as SIEM, CASB, CSPM, and EDR solutions.

Perform security risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.

Support incident response and forensic analysis for cloud-related security events.

Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure secure CI/CD pipelines.

Maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).

Document security processes and provide training to internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong experience in cloud security engineering.

Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

In-depth understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).

Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and micro-segmentation.

Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, Prisma Cloud, Defender, Sentinel, Okta, CrowdStrike).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Understanding of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience

3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud security roles.

Proven experience implementing security solutions in cloud environments.

Experience with enterprise-level security frameworks and compliance.

Prior remote work experience is an advantage.
