Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer – Remote Cloud Infrastructure Docs to join our global technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for our cloud-based platforms, infrastructure services, and internal engineering tools.

You will work closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, product managers, and solution architects to translate complex technical concepts into high-quality documentation that supports both internal stakeholders and external customers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, APIs, DevOps workflows, and system architectures.

• Create user guides, technical manuals, API references, onboarding documents, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.

• Translate complex technical processes into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content.

• Ensure documentation follows company standards, style guides, and best practices.

• Maintain version control and manage documentation updates as systems evolve.

• Conduct regular documentation audits to ensure relevance and consistency.

• Support product launches by preparing release notes and technical announcements.

• Improve documentation usability through diagrams, flowcharts, and structured content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple and structured manner.

• Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, GitHub, Markdown, or similar platforms.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

• Experience documenting APIs, microservices, and system architectures.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in IT, SaaS, or cloud-based environments.

• Proven experience working with engineering and technical teams.

• Portfolio of technical documentation or writing samples is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
