Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing global SaaS engineering team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our cloud-based platforms used by thousands of customers worldwide. You will bridge the gap between software development and operations by implementing automation, monitoring, and best practices that enable high system availability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure for SaaS applications.

• Monitor system performance, availability, latency, and error rates using modern observability tools.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and provisioning.

• Collaborate with software engineers to improve system architecture and release processes.

• Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment reliability and speed.

• Ensure system security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and system risks.

• Optimize cloud costs while maintaining high service reliability.

• Document operational procedures and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, ELK).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

• Experience supporting production-grade SaaS platforms with high availability requirements.

• Prior experience in remote or distributed teams is a plus.

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.

Working Hours

• 100% Remote role with flexible working hours.

• Core collaboration hours aligned with global teams (overlap with US/Europe preferred).

• On-call rotation may be required for incident support.
