Job Summary
HR Talent Solutions is seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Remote Medical Scribe to support US-based healthcare providers during night shift operations. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and clinical teams to accurately document patient encounters in real time, ensuring complete, precise, and compliant medical records. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare documentation who are passionate about improving clinical efficiency and patient care through accurate record-keeping.
As a Remote Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in reducing physicians’ administrative workload, allowing them to focus more on patient interaction and clinical decision-making. This is a fully remote opportunity aligned with US healthcare time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend virtual or live clinical sessions with physicians and healthcare providers.
- Accurately document patient encounters in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Record patient history, physical examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Transcribe clinical notes in real time or shortly after consultations.
- Ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA and US healthcare regulations.
- Review and edit clinical notes for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
- Flag missing or inconsistent information to providers.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data.
- Adapt to different medical specialties and documentation styles.
- Meet productivity, turnaround time, and quality benchmarks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Nursing, Allied Health, or related field (preferred).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong typing skills (minimum 50–60 WPM with high accuracy).
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows.
- Experience using EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc. is a plus).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong listening and comprehension skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet remote work setup.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience as a Medical Scribe, Clinical Documentation Specialist, or similar role.
- Fresh graduates with strong medical knowledge and documentation skills are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in US healthcare documentation is highly preferred.
- Exposure to specialties such as Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, or Family Practice is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Night Shift (US Time Zones): Typically between 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM IST (may vary depending on client requirements).
- Full-time and part-time options may be available.
- Must be flexible to align with US physician schedules, including weekends if required.
