Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician (Remote Order Entry) to join our Health Hub operations team. This remote role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare, accuracy, and digital pharmacy solutions. As a key member of our virtual pharmacy support team, you will be responsible for entering and processing prescription orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting licensed pharmacists in delivering safe, timely, and high-quality patient care.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of pharmacy data systems, improving workflow efficiency, and enhancing patient experience in a fast-growing remote healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter prescription orders into pharmacy management systems based on physician orders and electronic prescriptions.

• Review prescription information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, verification support, and documentation.

• Handle patient and provider communications related to prescription clarification and order status.

• Maintain up-to-date and organized electronic records in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.

• Identify potential medication issues, such as missing information, duplicates, or dosage discrepancies, and escalate to the pharmacist.

• Support billing, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes when required.

• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks in a remote, performance-driven environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy.

• Excellent computer literacy and comfort working with pharmacy software systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and prescription workflows.

• High level of professionalism and commitment to patient confidentiality.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a pharmacy support role.

• Prior experience with order entry, retail, hospital, or mail-order pharmacy systems is highly desirable.

• Experience working in a remote or digital healthcare environment is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time opportunities available.

• Flexible remote shifts, typically aligned with business hours (Monday to Friday).
