Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Moderator to join our global remote team for the night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing online communities across digital platforms to ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for users. You will act as the first line of defense in maintaining community standards, resolving conflicts, and upholding platform policies while providing a positive user experience.
This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, calm under pressure, and passionate about digital communities, social media, and online engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor user-generated content across forums, social media platforms, chat rooms, and community portals.

Enforce community guidelines and content policies consistently and fairly.

Identify, review, and remove inappropriate, harmful, or spam content.

Respond to user queries, reports, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

De-escalate conflicts and manage sensitive discussions with diplomacy and empathy.

Escalate critical issues, security risks, or policy violations to senior moderators or management.

Maintain accurate logs and reports of moderation activities and incidents.

Provide feedback to internal teams regarding community trends, user behavior, and emerging risks.

Support the continuous improvement of moderation processes and tools.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in content moderation, community management, customer support, or a related role is preferred.

Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is an advantage.

Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a keen interest in online communities may also be considered.
Working Hours

Night Shift (Remote): Typically aligned with US or global night hours.

Full-time role: 8–9 hours per shift, 5 days a week.
