Job Summary

HR Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst to join our dynamic E-commerce Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting team. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights, helping drive strategic decision-making across our e-commerce operations. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, analyze trends, and enhance reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports to monitor key performance metrics across e-commerce platforms.

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights for marketing, sales, and operational teams.

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business decisions and strategic planning.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure accurate data representation.

• Implement and maintain automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

• Support A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to measure the impact of business initiatives.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards.

• Assist in ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, metrics, and analytics (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Google Analytics, or similar).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting, preferably within e-commerce or retail.

• Proven track record of managing and delivering actionable reports and dashboards.

• Experience in handling large datasets and performing statistical analysis to support business growth.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible schedule with core collaboration hours aligned to team requirements (typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, but may vary depending on time zones).

• Occasional meetings with cross-functional teams may require flexible availability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced remote environment.

• Skilled in creating compelling, data-driven narratives for stakeholders.

• Familiarity with cloud-based databases and analytics tools.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
