MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Remote Transcriptist – Media & Podcast Focus to join our growing digital workforce. This role is ideal for individuals with strong listening, language, and editing skills who are passionate about media content, podcasts, interviews, and digital storytelling. As a Remote Transcriptist, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts that meet high editorial and quality standards.

You will work closely with media producers, journalists, content creators, and podcast hosts to ensure their content is accessible, searchable, and ready for publication across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe audio and video files, including podcasts, interviews, webinars, panel discussions, and media recordings.

• Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.

• Identify speakers correctly and apply proper formatting guidelines.

• Ensure high levels of accuracy while meeting turnaround time requirements.

• Conduct light research when needed to verify names, technical terms, or industry-specific vocabulary.

• Maintain confidentiality and data security for all client content.

• Collaborate with editors and content teams to meet quality benchmarks.

• Use transcription software and internal platforms efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Strong listening and comprehension skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in typing (minimum 50–60 WPM with high accuracy).

• Familiarity with transcription tools and media formats.

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in transcription, content editing, journalism, or media-related roles.

• Prior experience with podcast, interview, or broadcast transcription is highly preferred.

• Fresh graduates with excellent language skills are encouraged to apply.
