Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Data Scientist to drive our predictive analytics initiatives and transform complex data into actionable insights. This remote role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is passionate about leveraging advanced statistical models, machine learning techniques, and big data technologies to solve real-world business problems. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven strategies, mentoring a team of analysts and scientists, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

• Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and data science solutions.

• Oversee end-to-end data science projects, from data acquisition and cleaning to modeling and deployment.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate predictive insights into decision-making processes.

• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.

• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development.

• Expertise in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting.

• Experience with big data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL-based systems).

• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and data mining techniques.

• Ability to design and interpret experiments and A/B tests.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.

• At least 2–3 years in a leadership or senior data science role.

• Proven track record of delivering predictive analytics solutions in a business environment.

• Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
