Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Remote Occupational Therapist – Tele-Rehab Specialist to join our growing digital healthcare team. In this role, you will provide virtual occupational therapy services to patients across diverse age groups and clinical backgrounds, helping them improve functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life.

As a Tele-Rehab Specialist, you will leverage innovative telehealth platforms to assess, treat, and monitor patients remotely, ensuring high-quality care delivery in a flexible and technology-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual occupational therapy assessments and evaluations.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and functional limitations.

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive strategies, and assistive devices.

  • Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and modify treatment plans accordingly.

  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and care coordinators.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR).

  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, professional guidelines, and telehealth regulations.

  • Provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the practicing jurisdiction.

  • Certification or training in telehealth or digital healthcare preferred.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • High level of empathy, professionalism, and ethical practice.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Prior experience in tele-rehabilitation or remote patient care is an advantage.

  • Experience working with diverse patient populations (pediatrics, adults, geriatrics) is preferred.

  • Background in neurological, orthopedic, or post-surgical rehabilitation is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours with options for full-time or part-time schedules.

  • Core availability during standard business hours, with some evening or weekend sessions based on patient demand.

  • Fully remote role – work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
