Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international freight shipments, including air, sea, and ground transportation.

• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery, proactively resolving delays or issues.

• Maintain communication with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.

• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, warehouse, and customer service to align logistics activities with business needs.

• Analyze freight costs and performance metrics to recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.

• Support the implementation of logistics technology systems for tracking, reporting, and automation.

• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding shipment status, KPIs, and operational issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of global freight forwarding, shipping regulations, and customs compliance.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability and meeting deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain operations.

• Experience with international shipping, import/export procedures, and carrier management is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CargoWise) is an advantage.

Working Hours
