Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Environmental Scientist – ESG Reporting to support our growing sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting environmental data to help the organization meet its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate ESG disclosures, regulatory compliance, and sustainability reporting aligned with international standards. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about climate action, data-driven decision-making, and helping organizations build a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and validate environmental and sustainability data from internal and external sources.

• Prepare ESG reports in line with global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CSRD.

• Monitor environmental performance indicators including carbon footprint, energy usage, water consumption, and waste management.

• Support greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations and climate impact assessments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve ESG strategies and sustainability initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ESG disclosure requirements.

• Develop dashboards and metrics to track sustainability performance.

• Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analysis.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve corporate sustainability practices.

• Support external audits and third-party ESG assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies (Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in environmental analysis, sustainability reporting, ESG consulting, or a related role.

• Hands-on experience preparing ESG, sustainability, or CSR reports.

• Experience working with regulatory compliance and environmental audits is a plus.

• Prior experience in a technology, consulting, or corporate environment is preferred.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
