In this role, you will act as the voice and guardian of the community—driving engagement, moderating discussions, supporting members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive and high-value user experience. The ideal candidate combines strong community instincts with a solid understanding of decentralized culture and online community dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of Discord and Web3 community channels.
- Moderate discussions to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Develop and execute community engagement strategies, events, and campaigns.
- Respond promptly to member questions, feedback, and support requests.
- Monitor community sentiment and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and partnerships teams on announcements and launches.
- Create and maintain community guidelines, FAQs, and knowledge resources.
- Identify and nurture community ambassadors and power users.
- Track and report on key community metrics (growth, engagement, retention).
- Stay current on Web3 trends, tools, and community best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience managing Discord communities.
- Solid understanding of Web3, blockchain culture, and decentralized communities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Experience with community analytics and moderation tools.
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of community management or social community experience.
- Prior experience in Web3, crypto, gaming, or tech communities preferred.
- Demonstrated success growing and engaging online communities.
- Experience working remotely with global teams is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Fully remote position.
- Flexible schedule with expected overlap across global time zones.
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend community events as needed.
