Job Summary

Synergy Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented and persuasive Part-Time Collection Telecaller to support our client’s accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding payments, maintaining professional communication, and ensuring timely recovery of dues. This role is well-suited for individuals with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to customers to remind and follow up on pending payments.

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, payment commitments, and customer interactions in the system.

  • Negotiate payment plans where appropriate while adhering to company policies.

  • Address customer queries related to billing and payment issues.

  • Escalate complex or disputed cases to the appropriate department.

  • Achieve daily and weekly collection targets.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical collection practices.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to supervisors on collection status.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English (additional regional languages are an advantage).

  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or dialer systems.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult conversations.

  • Good listening skills and attention to detail.

  • Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent (graduate preferred).

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in telecalling, collections, customer service, or a related role preferred.

  • Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn may also apply.

  • Prior experience in financial services, banking, or BPO collections is an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Part-time role (typically 4–6 hours per day).

  • Flexible shifts may be available based on business requirements.

  • Weekday and occasional weekend availability may be required.
