Job Summary

Chaosology is seeking an engaging and motivated Online English Conversation Coach to support learners in improving their spoken English fluency and confidence. This fully remote role focuses on facilitating interactive conversation sessions, providing constructive feedback, and helping students achieve their communication goals in a supportive, learner-centered environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about language education, culturally aware, and skilled at creating dynamic virtual learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and small group English conversation sessions via virtual platforms.

• Assess learners’ speaking abilities and tailor sessions to meet individual needs and goals.

• Provide clear, actionable feedback on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and fluency.

• Develop engaging conversation topics and activities that encourage active participation.

• Track student progress and maintain accurate session notes and performance reports.

• Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive online learning environment.

• Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate different proficiency levels and learning styles.

• Participate in periodic training, meetings, and quality reviews as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English proficiency (near-native or native level).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Comfortable using video conferencing and online teaching tools.

• Ability to motivate and engage learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.

• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in English teaching, tutoring, coaching, or related field preferred.

• Experience in online instruction or virtual coaching is highly desirable.

• Experience working with adult learners or international students is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Fully remote, flexible schedule.

• Availability during peak learner hours (evenings and/or weekends) is preferred.

• Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available based on performance and demand.
