Job Summary
Treble Kicks is seeking a passionate and disciplined Part-Time Sunday-Only Karate Instructor to join our growing martial arts program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering structured, safe, and engaging karate training sessions to students of varying ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for a motivated martial artist who enjoys mentoring students and promoting physical fitness, confidence, and respect through traditional karate principles.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct structured karate classes every Sunday for beginner to intermediate students.

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with karate curriculum.

Demonstrate proper techniques, forms (kata), and sparring fundamentals.

Ensure student safety by maintaining proper supervision and enforcing dojo rules.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Foster discipline, respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship among participants.

Assist in grading assessments, belt promotions, and occasional demonstrations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of training equipment and practice area.

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Certified Karate Black Belt (preferred minimum: 1st Dan or equivalent).

Strong understanding of traditional karate techniques and teaching methods.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and engage children, teens, and adults.

Professional, punctual, and dependable.

Current First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.

Physically fit and capable of demonstrating techniques.
Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of karate instruction or assistant instructor experience preferred.

Experience working with children and youth programs is highly desirable.

Prior experience in a dojo, sports academy, or fitness center is a plus.
Working Hours
