IT sight Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Claims Assessor to support General Insurance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing insurance claims while ensuring compliance with policy terms, regulatory standards, and internal quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess general insurance claims for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.

• Verify supporting documents, reports, and claim details to determine eligibility and liability.

• Evaluate claim validity based on policy coverage, exclusions, and underwriting guidelines.

• Communicate with internal teams, adjusters, and stakeholders to clarify claim information.

• Maintain accurate digital records and update claim management systems promptly.

• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious claims when necessary.

• Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.

• Prepare clear assessment reports and recommendations for claim settlement or rejection.

• Support process improvement initiatives and quality audits when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of general insurance principles and claims processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review.

• Proficiency in MS Office tools and claims management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in general insurance claims processing or assessment.

• Prior experience in remote claims operations or insurance BPO/KPO environments is preferred.

• Exposure to multiple insurance lines (motor, health, property, or liability) is an advantage.

• Experience handling high-volume claim reviews will be beneficial.

Working Hours

• Fully remote/work-from-home role.
