Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to support critical federal contract operations in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with federal security standards and frameworks. Key Responsibilities

Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM and other cybersecurity tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Conduct incident triage, investigation, and response in accordance with federal security guidelines.

Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.

Maintain and improve security documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures.

Support compliance initiatives aligned with frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT and security teams to strengthen overall security posture.

Prepare and deliver security reports, risk assessments, and audit support documentation.

Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response.

Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).

Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security concepts.

Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).

Proficiency in analyzing logs, network traffic, and security alerts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance (if applicable).

Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Typically 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC analysis, or incident response.

Prior experience supporting federal or government environments is strongly preferred.

Working Hours
