Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Renewable Energy Data Analyst to support our offshore renewable energy initiatives. This fully remote role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to offshore wind, solar, and emerging clean energy projects. The ideal candidate will transform complex energy data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, investment decisions, and sustainability outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and sustainability stakeholders to support data-driven renewable energy strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from offshore renewable energy assets and monitoring systems.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track performance metrics such as energy output, efficiency, and downtime.

  • Perform statistical and predictive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.

  • Support offshore wind and solar project teams with data-driven recommendations.

  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting workflows.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve asset performance and reliability.

  • Monitor regulatory and environmental data relevant to offshore renewable projects.

  • Present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ensure data governance, quality standards, and documentation best practices are followed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Renewable Energy, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

  • Solid understanding of renewable energy systems, preferably offshore wind or marine energy.

  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and time-series analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, energy analytics, or a related technical field.

  • Prior exposure to offshore energy, utilities, or renewable energy projects is highly preferred.

  • Experience working with SCADA data or energy production datasets is a plus.

  • Proven track record of building dashboards and delivering actionable insights.

Working Hours

  • Fully remote position.

  • Flexible schedule with partial overlap required with global offshore operations teams.

  • Occasional early morning or late evening meetings may be required based on project needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple datasets and priorities simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.

  • Understanding of offshore environmental and performance metrics is a plus.

  • Self-motivated with strong time-management skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.
