HCL Technologies is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Support Engineers to join our dynamic remote team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will assist in troubleshooting cloud-based applications, monitoring performance, and ensuring a seamless experience for our global clients. Key Responsibilities



  • Provide remote support for cloud infrastructure and applications hosted on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Monitor and maintain cloud servers, storage, and networks to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Respond to client queries and resolve technical issues within the defined SLAs.

  • Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based services.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, incidents, and solutions for knowledge sharing.

  • Continuously learn and adapt to new cloud technologies and tools.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Familiarity with networking, operating systems, and database fundamentals.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with attention to detail.


Experience



  • Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of IT or cloud support experience are welcome to apply.

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent) are a plus but not mandatory.


Working Hours



  • Flexible remote work schedule with 8-hour shifts.

  • Rotational shifts may apply to provide global support coverage, including weekends or nights if required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

  • Basic troubleshooting of server and network issues.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.

  • Eagerness to learn new cloud technologies and participate in upskilling programs.
