Job Summary


SafeNest Nanny Network is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced Weekend Nanny to provide exceptional care for twin toddlers in a loving family environment. This role is perfect for a nurturing individual who enjoys working with children, supporting their early development, and ensuring their safety and happiness. The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, and capable of creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for active toddlers during the weekends.




Key Responsibilities



  • Provide attentive care for twin toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

  • Engage the children in age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the family’s guidelines.

  • Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and general hygiene as needed.

  • Maintain a tidy and organized play area and clean up after the children.

  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children’s activities, routines, and any concerns.

  • Adhere to any specific family routines, schedules, and instructions.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proven experience working as a nanny, babysitter, or childcare provider for toddlers.

  • Strong understanding of child safety practices and emergency response procedures.

  • Ability to engage toddlers in creative, educational, and entertaining activities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.

  • Ability to manage the needs of two active toddlers simultaneously.




Experience



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare, preferably with toddlers or multiples (twins).

  • First Aid and CPR certification is highly preferred.

  • Previous experience in a nanny or daycare setting is an advantage.




Working Hours



  • Weekend position (Saturday and Sunday).

  • Approximately 8–10 hours per day, with some flexibility based on family needs.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of early childhood development and toddler care best practices.

  • Skills in organizing structured play, story time, and safe outdoor activities.

  • Ability to maintain routines and handle the energetic demands of caring for twins.

  • Emotional intelligence to respond calmly to children’s needs and emotions.
