Job Summary


SecureMalls Inc. is seeking a vigilant and dependable Night Shift Security Guard to protect and maintain the safety of our industrial site during nighttime operations. The role involves monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding promptly to security incidents. This position is ideal for individuals who are alert, disciplined, and committed to ensuring a safe working environment during non-business hours.



Key Responsibilities



  • Patrol and monitor the industrial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or theft.

  • Control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are permitted.

  • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems throughout the night.

  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities.

  • Complete detailed incident reports and maintain security logs.

  • Assist in enforcing site safety and emergency procedures.

  • Cooperate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.

  • Ensure security equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions immediately.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent (security-related training or certification preferred).

  • Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to remain alert and focused during extended night shifts.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer skills for reporting and monitoring systems.

  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.



Experience



  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours



  • Night shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (flexible based on operational needs).

  • Rotational weekends and public holidays may be required.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
