Job Summary
OneTech Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Healthcare Transcription Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will review, proofread, and edit healthcare transcription documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards. This position is open to both experienced professionals and motivated entry-level candidates with excellent English skills and a passion for healthcare documentation. Comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit medical transcription documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting.
- Ensure that all reports comply with healthcare industry standards and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).
- Identify and correct errors in terminology, patient information, and formatting.
- Collaborate with transcriptionists to clarify and resolve discrepancies in reports.
- Maintain consistent quality and meet deadlines for assigned work.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, healthcare documentation guidelines, and transcription best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong command of written English, grammar, and punctuation.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and other document editing tools.
- Familiarity with medical terms is an advantage but not mandatory (training provided).
Experience
- Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with excellent language skills are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in transcription, editing, or proofreading is preferred but not required.
