Key Responsibilities
- Listen to and accurately transcribe audio recordings of medical consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure grammatical correctness, proper formatting, and adherence to medical terminology standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Identify and clarify any discrepancies or unclear audio with the relevant healthcare professional when necessary.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines while ensuring high accuracy levels.
- Keep up-to-date with medical terminology, drug names, and healthcare documentation guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in English with excellent listening, typing, and grammar skills.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to use transcription software, word processing tools, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical transcription (preferred).
- Freshers with strong medical terminology knowledge and typing skills will also be considered.
Working Hours
- Part-time, flexible schedule (10–20 hours per week).
- Ability to work during early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on project needs.

- Strong research skills for verifying medical terminology and drug names.
