Job Summary


As a Remote Customer Service Representative in the Healthcare sector at Concentrix, you will be the frontline ambassador of our client’s healthcare services. You will handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries, providing compassionate, accurate, and timely support to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance members. Your role will be pivotal in resolving issues related to medical billing, claims processing, appointment scheduling, and healthcare benefits, ensuring a seamless customer experience in a remote work environment.




Key Responsibilities



  • Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and courteously.

  • Assist customers with questions related to healthcare services, insurance claims, billing discrepancies, and eligibility verification.

  • Document and update customer information accurately in CRM systems following each interaction.

  • Identify and escalate priority issues to appropriate departments for resolution.

  • Provide detailed explanations and guidance on healthcare policies, benefits, and procedures.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and internal teams to facilitate problem resolution.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Achieve and maintain individual performance metrics related to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

  • Stay updated with healthcare industry changes and client-specific policies to provide informed support.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or insurance industries.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and professionalism in handling sensitive healthcare issues.

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and databases efficiently.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is a plus.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data privacy standards preferred.




Experience



  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service roles, with at least 6 months in healthcare or related fields preferred.

  • Experience working remotely or in virtual customer service teams is advantageous.




Working Hours



  • This is a full-time remote position with flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on client requirements.

  • Availability to work scheduled hours and occasional overtime as necessary.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
