Job Summary


MailDesign Studio is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Email Template Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing, responsive, and high-converting email templates that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate should have expertise in HTML/CSS for email, design tools like Figma or Adobe XD, and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design professional, mobile-responsive email templates optimized for various email clients and devices.

  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure templates align with campaign goals and brand guidelines.

  • Implement best practices for email design, including accessibility, load speed, and deliverability.

  • Create reusable components for efficient template development.

  • Test templates across multiple devices, email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail), and browsers to ensure compatibility.

  • Stay updated on email marketing design trends and suggest innovative design solutions.

  • Troubleshoot HTML/CSS issues and optimize templates for performance.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email development.

  • Strong design skills with experience using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.

  • Knowledge of email design best practices, including responsive design and cross-client compatibility.

  • Understanding of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.



Experience



  • 1–3 years of experience in email design and development (freshers with strong portfolios are welcome).

  • Experience with email testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid) is an added advantage.



Working Hours



  • Flexible remote schedule.

  • Must be available for team calls and project discussions during standard Indian business hours.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of email deliverability factors and how design impacts performance.

  • Ability to create designs that enhance click-through and conversion rates.

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for email design.

  • Good communication and collaborative skills for working with remote teams.
