Job Summary


FoodLingua India is looking for passionate language enthusiasts and food lovers to join our team as Part-Time Online Recipe Translators. In this role, you will translate recipes from English into your preferred regional or international language (such as Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Spanish, French, etc.) while ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and clarity. This is a remote position ideal for individuals who have strong linguistic skills and an interest in culinary arts.



Key Responsibilities



  • Translate recipes accurately from English to the target language without losing the original meaning.

  • Ensure translations maintain cultural and culinary appropriateness.

  • Proofread and edit translated content for grammar, spelling, and clarity.

  • Work with the content team to meet deadlines for assigned projects.

  • Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all translated recipes.

  • Follow company guidelines for formatting and language tone.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (written and spoken).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in translations.

  • Good understanding of culinary terms and cooking methods.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with online tools for document editing.



Experience



  • Preferred: Previous experience in translation, content writing, or culinary-related fields.

  • Freshers with excellent language skills are encouraged to apply.



Working Hours



  • Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 2–4 hours daily).

  • Work from the comfort of your home, at your own pace, while meeting project deadlines.
