Job Summary:


E-Lib Solutions is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as E-Library Indexing Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, categorizing, and indexing digital content for our online library platform. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and basic knowledge of e-library systems. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and an opportunity to work with one of the leading digital library service providers in India.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Index and organize e-books, journals, research papers, and digital documents in the e-library system.

  • Apply appropriate metadata, tags, and classification standards to digital resources.

  • Ensure accurate categorization for easy navigation and retrieval by users.

  • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain data integrity and consistency.

  • Update and maintain the e-library database with new content as required.

  • Coordinate with the content management team to resolve any indexing discrepancies.

  • Follow company guidelines and library standards for indexing and classification.



Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

  • Basic understanding of e-library systems and metadata tagging.

  • Proficient in using computers and basic MS Office applications (Word, Excel).

  • Good English communication skills (written).

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.



Experience:



  • Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.

  • Prior experience in library science, data entry, or digital content management is a plus but not mandatory.



Working Hours:



  • Flexible working hours (part-time or full-time options available).

  • Must be able to meet daily/weekly deadlines as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of digital library standards and classification methods (preferred).

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of data.

  • Quick learner with problem-solving ability.
