EventWords Media is seeking a talented and creative Remote Event Blog Content Writer to join our dynamic content team. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while contributing to a growing media platform that covers conferences, trade shows, festivals, and virtual events across India and globally.



Key Responsibilities



  • Research and write compelling blog articles on a wide range of events, including corporate, cultural, and entertainment events.

  • Develop content strategies and editorial calendars in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, accurate, and aligned with the company’s tone and brand guidelines.

  • Edit and proofread content to maintain high-quality writing standards.

  • Monitor blog performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, upcoming events, and audience interests to generate fresh content ideas.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers, social media managers, and other team members to enhance content presentation.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress.

  • Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and formats.

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of storytelling.



Experience



  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional content writing experience, preferably in blogging, journalism, or the event industry.

  • Experience in creating SEO-optimized content is highly desirable.

  • Previous remote work experience is a plus but not mandatory.
