Job Summary:


LinguaFix Pvt Ltd is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented individuals for the role of Remote Online Translation Checker. This part-time opportunity allows you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to ensuring the highest quality translations for our global clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of at least two languages and a keen eye for accuracy, consistency, and cultural context. You will play a pivotal role in verifying translated content, improving readability, and maintaining linguistic integrity.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Review and validate translations for accuracy, grammar, syntax, and context.

  • Ensure that translated content preserves the meaning and tone of the original text.

  • Identify and correct linguistic errors, formatting inconsistencies, and typographical mistakes.

  • Collaborate with translators and the project management team to clarify ambiguities.

  • Maintain translation glossaries and style guides for consistency across projects.

  • Provide feedback on translation quality to help improve future projects.

  • Meet daily/weekly targets while maintaining high-quality output.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language (preferred languages: Hindi, French, Spanish, German, Arabic, or others).

  • Strong grammar, punctuation, and editing skills in both source and target languages.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with translation tools (CAT tools) is an added advantage.




Experience:



  • Prior experience in translation checking, proofreading, or editing is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Freshers with strong linguistic skills and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.




Working Hours:



  • Flexible part-time schedule.

  • Minimum of 3–4 hours per day, 5 days a week (flexibility to adjust based on personal availability).

  • Fully remote work, no office commute required.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Strong command over languages and cultural nuances.

  • Exceptional proofreading, editing, and quality assessment skills.

  • Good time management and organizational skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Docs, etc.).

  • Ability to adapt to different translation styles and guidelines.
