Key Responsibilities



  • Review and proofread festival recipes for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of ingredient lists, measurements, and cooking instructions.

  • Verify cultural and regional relevance of festival recipes, making sure they align with traditional practices.

  • Collaborate with content writers and recipe developers to clarify ambiguities or inconsistencies.

  • Suggest improvements in recipe presentation, readability, and overall user experience.

  • Maintain strict deadlines while managing multiple recipes per week.

  • Stay updated on culinary trends and seasonal festivals to provide informed feedback.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).

  • Strong proofreading, editing, and grammatical skills.

  • Familiarity with recipe formats, cooking terminologies, and measurements.

  • Knowledge of Indian festivals and traditional recipes is highly preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for food content.



Experience



  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in proofreading, content editing, or recipe writing is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Prior experience in food, culinary, or lifestyle content will be an added advantage.



Working Hours



  • Flexible work-from-home schedule.

  • Expected to complete assigned proofreading tasks within set deadlines.
