Job Summary
BrightFuture Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NGO Program Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of our social programs. The ideal candidate will assist program managers in executing initiatives that create meaningful community impact, ensure smooth operational workflows, and maintain accurate records for reporting and evaluation. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social development, organized, and eager to contribute to the betterment of society.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing programs and community projects.
- Maintain program records, documentation, and databases.
- Coordinate with team members, volunteers, and external partners.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders.
- Support event management, workshops, and community outreach activities.
- Monitor program progress and provide feedback to the program manager.
- Conduct research and assist in identifying community needs.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in NGO support, program coordination, or administrative roles.
- Internship experience with social service organizations is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Flexibility may be required for special events or field activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding of NGO operations and community development practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methods.
