Job Summary


SmileBridge Trust is dedicated to driving impactful social change by creating awareness and connecting communities with essential resources and programs. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Outreach and Awareness Officer to lead our community engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will develop and implement outreach strategies, conduct awareness campaigns, and foster partnerships that strengthen our mission to empower vulnerable groups.




Key Responsibilities



  • Design, plan, and execute outreach campaigns to promote NGO programs and services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, and stakeholders.

  • Organize community events, workshops, and awareness sessions to educate the public on social initiatives.

  • Develop informative materials (brochures, social media content, presentations) to support awareness activities.

  • Identify and engage target groups for participation in programs and projects.

  • Monitor and evaluate outreach activities for impact and effectiveness, preparing detailed reports for management.

  • Represent SmileBridge Trust at public events, seminars, and networking opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across outreach efforts.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.

  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media platforms.

  • Passion for social causes and community development.




Experience



  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or advocacy roles (NGO or non-profit sector preferred).

  • Experience in organizing events, campaigns, and public engagement activities.




Working Hours



  • Standard: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Flexibility required for evening/weekend events or field visits.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge: Community mobilization strategies, public health or social issues, and program promotion techniques.

  • Skills: Event planning, digital outreach, stakeholder engagement, and report writing.

  • Abilities: Work in diverse communities, adapt to dynamic environments, and inspire community participation.
