Job Summary
SheRise Foundation is dedicated to empowering women through education, skill development, and social initiatives. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Women Empowerment NGO Coordinator to lead and oversee programs that promote gender equality, economic independence, and leadership opportunities for women. The ideal candidate will manage projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure impactful delivery of initiatives aligned with our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement programs focused on women’s empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship.
- Build partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, corporates, and community organizations to strengthen program reach.
- Conduct community outreach, workshops, and training sessions to engage and empower women.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure objectives are met effectively.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and proposals for donors and funding agencies.
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers or field staff involved in empowerment programs.
- Organize awareness campaigns, events, and advocacy initiatives related to gender equality.
- Maintain accurate data and documentation of all projects for transparency and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong understanding of women’s rights, gender equality, and community development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with project management tools.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and handle sensitive issues with empathy.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in NGO operations, women empowerment programs, or community development projects.
- Prior experience in advocacy, training, or fundraising is a strong advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Flexible hours for fieldwork and events when required).

- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports effectively.
