Job Summary


KidsFirst NGO is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children through education, health, and emotional well-being programs. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Child Care NGO Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children in our programs, providing care, emotional support, and guidance while ensuring their safety and development. This role is perfect for someone passionate about child welfare and community development.




Key Responsibilities



  • Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children enrolled in our programs.

  • Assist in planning and organizing educational and recreational activities.

  • Monitor the health, hygiene, and safety of children at all times.

  • Report any issues related to a child’s health, behavior, or welfare to the supervisor promptly.

  • Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, progress, and attendance.

  • Collaborate with volunteers, social workers, and other NGO staff to deliver holistic care.

  • Educate children about personal hygiene and basic life skills.

  • Participate in community outreach programs and awareness campaigns related to child welfare.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle children with empathy, patience, and care.

  • Basic knowledge of child health and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in challenging environments.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.




Experience



  • Fresher candidates with a passion for child care are welcome.

  • Previous experience in an NGO, childcare center, or social work will be an advantage.




Working Hours



  • Full-time: 8 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.

  • Occasional weekend work during events or outreach programs.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Understanding of child development and behavior management techniques.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect children’s rights.

  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to different situations.

  • Basic first aid knowledge is a plus.
