Job Description
Job Summary:
RightStep Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Research and Documentation Assistant to support our projects aimed at social development and community welfare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research, compiling reports, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accuracy in data collection and analysis. This role plays a critical part in driving informed decision-making, improving program effectiveness, and maintaining compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on social issues, community development projects, and related NGO initiatives.
- Collect, verify, and analyze data from multiple sources for program planning and reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and case studies based on research findings.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including donor reports and internal records.
- Assist in drafting proposals, grant applications, and periodic progress reports.
- Coordinate with program teams to gather field data and success stories for impact assessment.
- Support in developing content for newsletters, blogs, and annual reports.
- Ensure adherence to organizational guidelines, compliance standards, and confidentiality of data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.
- Ability to synthesize information from various sources into clear, concise reports.
- Familiarity with NGO operations and donor reporting standards will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Freshers with strong research and documentation skills are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in research, documentation, or report writing in the development sector will be preferred.
Working Hours:
- Flexible working hours with a commitment of 30–40 hours per week.
- Remote work option available, with occasional visits to field locations if required.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
