Job Summary


HealthConnect Foundation is dedicated to promoting health education and preventive care across communities. We are seeking a passionate and organized Health Awareness Program Coordinator to lead and manage health awareness initiatives, workshops, and campaigns. The role involves developing impactful health education programs, collaborating with healthcare professionals, engaging local communities, and ensuring the successful execution of all awareness activities to improve public health outcomes.




Key Responsibilities



  • Plan, organize, and implement health awareness programs, campaigns, and workshops in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Develop educational content, presentations, and materials on preventive healthcare, nutrition, hygiene, and wellness.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, NGOs, government agencies, and community leaders for program partnerships.

  • Conduct training sessions and awareness drives in schools, workplaces, and rural communities.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and prepare detailed reports for management and donors.

  • Manage program budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure timely execution of activities.

  • Promote programs through social media, newsletters, and community outreach initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, participants, and feedback.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Community Development, Social Work, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of health education principles, public health awareness, and preventive care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences.

  • Ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations and training materials.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools.




Experience



  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in health awareness programs, community outreach, or NGO sector.

  • Experience in planning and executing health education campaigns is highly desirable.




Working Hours



  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week (flexible schedule with occasional evening or weekend events based on program needs).




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of local health challenges and community engagement strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability skills.

  • Ability to travel to program sites when required.
