Job Summary


SkillBridge Foundation is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through education, skill development, and capacity-building programs. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Training and Development Officer to design, implement, and monitor training programs for our beneficiaries, volunteers, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning and development, excellent facilitation skills, and a commitment to making a positive social impact.




Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement effective training programs aligned with the foundation’s objectives.

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps among beneficiaries and staff.

  • Design training modules, curriculum, and materials tailored to various audiences.

  • Deliver engaging training sessions using innovative and interactive methods.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.

  • Coordinate with project managers and field officers to schedule and organize training activities.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in adult learning and skill development.

  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation of all training activities.

  • Support capacity-building initiatives and professional development of internal staff.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Work, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in the NGO sector.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to use e-learning tools and virtual training platforms.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.




Experience



  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a non-profit or social development environment.




Working Hours



  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week

  • Flexible working options with occasional travel for on-site training programs.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.

  • Ability to adapt training methods for diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and social awareness.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
