Job Summary


KindHearts NGO is dedicated to creating meaningful social impact through community development, education, and healthcare initiatives. We are seeking a Part-Time NGO Support Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working in the nonprofit sector and contributing to social change while maintaining flexibility in their work schedule.




Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including email correspondence, scheduling, and document preparation.

  • Support fundraising activities, donor communication, and event coordination.

  • Manage and update databases of beneficiaries, volunteers, and donors.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and content for internal and external communication.

  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure smooth implementation of ongoing programs.

  • Assist in social media updates and community engagement activities.

  • Handle basic financial documentation and expense tracking when required.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Social Work, Management, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic internet research skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.




Experience



  • Previous experience in an NGO, volunteering, or administrative support role is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Freshers with a passion for social work are encouraged to apply.




Working Hours



  • Part-Time: 15–20 hours per week.

  • Flexible schedule with some availability during weekdays for team coordination.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of NGO operations and social development programs is an advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
