Job Description
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and organized Virtual Receptionist to support our Canadian client base. In this fully remote position, you will act as the first point of contact for businesses across various industries, handling inbound calls, emails, scheduling, and client inquiries with a high level of professionalism.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy customer interaction, are highly organized, and can manage multiple tasks with ease while working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to emails on behalf of clients in a courteous and timely manner
- Provide general information, take messages, route calls, or schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate call logs and client communications
- Handle basic administrative duties such as calendar management, appointment confirmations, and data entry
- Represent client brands professionally and uphold high service standards
- Collaborate with internal teams or client contacts for seamless service delivery
- Adhere to client-specific protocols and confidentiality agreements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills in English (spoken and written); French is a strong asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Professional phone manner with active listening skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Experience
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles preferred
- Experience using CRM systems or virtual phone systems is an asset
- Remote work experience is beneficial but not mandatory
Working Hours
- Part-time and full-time options available
- Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- All work is done remotely – must be located in Canada and legally authorized to work
