OneTech Associates is seeking a dedicated Social Media Content Moderator (m/w/d) with proficiency in German to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating user-generated content across various social media platforms, ensuring compliance with company policies and community guidelines. You will help create a safe and positive online environment by identifying and managing inappropriate content while contributing to user engagement and brand reputation. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, fluent in both German and English, and passionate about social media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor social media platforms for user-generated content to identify and manage inappropriate or harmful content in accordance with company guidelines.
• Review and moderate user comments, messages, and posts, ensuring compliance with platform policies and community standards.
• Address and resolve user-reported issues, escalating more complex cases to senior moderators or management when necessary.
• Stay updated on platform policy changes and adjust moderation strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with the social media team to enhance engagement and maintain a positive brand image.
• Provide feedback on community trends and report any potential issues to the management team.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about best practices in content moderation and social media management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in German (written and spoken) is required; fluency in English is also essential.
• Prior experience in content moderation, social media management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify inappropriate content quickly and accurately.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with online safety and privacy best practices.

Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in social media content moderation or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with social media management tools or content moderation platforms is a plus.

Working Hours:

• This is a remote, full-time position.
• Flexible working hours, including occasional weekends or holidays as required.
