Responsibilities

• Execute manual tests on web, mobile, and desktop platforms to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure product reliability.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and UX designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Identify root causes of defects and follow up on issue resolution through communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Document testing processes and maintain clear and concise records of defects, including steps to reproduce and expected outcomes.
• Participate in sprint planning, providing QA estimates and insights.
• Review and validate product releases prior to deployment, ensuring all issues are addressed.
• Continuously contribute to process improvements and testing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in manual testing with a focus on web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (such as JIRA, Bugzilla) and testing documentation platforms.
• Ability to identify, document, and follow up on bugs effectively.
• Solid knowledge of different testing techniques and strategies.
• Understanding of API testing and database concepts.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a QA Engineer role focused on manual testing.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers.
• Prior experience testing mobile applications is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
• Flexible working hours with core availability between 10 AM and 4 PM.
• Option for remote or hybrid working models, depending on project needs.
