Part-Time Tier 1 Technical Support Representative – Remote

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for customers by addressing basic technical issues via email, chat, or phone
- Troubleshoot common issues related to software, hardware, and networking
- Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions and resolutions in the support ticketing system
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved to their satisfaction
- Assist with common troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge base updates
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive, helpful attitude
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Basic understanding of computer systems, software, and networking
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues independently
- Comfortable using remote desktop tools and support ticketing systems
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote environment
- Prior customer service or technical support experience is a plus, but not required
- Availability to work flexible hours in a part-time capacity
Experience
- 0-1 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or helpdesk
- Experience with popular operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) is preferred
- Familiarity with common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.) is a plus
Working Hours
- Flexible, part-time role with the ability to work 15-20 hours per week
- Occasional shifts during evenings and weekends may be required
